Policies & Disclaimers

At Montana Table, we’re committed to providing exceptional food and thoughtful service for every occasion. To ensure a seamless experience, please review our general policies below. Specific event details, pricing, and terms will be outlined in your individual catering agreement.

Pricing & Menu Availability

  • Menus, pricing, and services are subject to change based on seasonal availability, market conditions, guest count, and event requirements. Website pricing is for reference only. Final pricing is confirmed through a personalized proposal and signed agreement. Comparable ingredient substitutions may be made when necessary, with significant changes communicated in advance.

Reservations, Payments & Cancellations

  • Event dates are secured only upon receipt of a signed catering agreement and required retainer. Inquiries and proposals do not guarantee availability.

  • Payment schedules, cancellation fees, refund eligibility, and rescheduling terms are outlined in each catering agreement. All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Rescheduling is subject to availability and approval. Late or missing payments may affect scheduled services.

Guest Counts & Event Changes

  • Final guest counts must be confirmed by the deadline specified in your agreement. Once finalized, reductions may not decrease contracted charges. Additional guests, services, staffing, or last-minute changes are subject to availability and additional fees.

Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

  • Please communicate all food allergies and dietary restrictions in writing before your event. While we take reasonable precautions, our kitchen handles common allergens, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Guests with severe allergies should contact us directly to discuss accommodations and potential risks.

Venue Requirements & Weather

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring safe venue access and adequate facilities for food preparation and service. Additional fees may apply for remote locations, challenging access, or specialized equipment.

  • Severe weather, road closures, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control may affect services. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, with applicable terms governed by the catering agreement.

Food Safety & Leftovers

  • Montana Table follows applicable food safety standards during preparation, transportation, and contracted service. Once food is transferred to the client or another party for independent handling, proper storage, refrigeration, and reheating become their responsibility. For safety reasons, we may decline to release food that has exceeded safe holding conditions.

Travel, Minimums & Additional Services

  • Minimum catering investments may apply based on event size, location, and season. Events outside our standard service area may require additional travel, staffing, transportation, or lodging fees.

  • Only services specifically outlined in the catering agreement are included. Additional requests or changes must be approved in writing and may incur additional charges. Independent vendors are responsible for their respective services, except as otherwise required by law.

Photography & Presentation

  • Website and social media imagery represents our culinary style and offerings. Actual presentation may vary based on seasonal ingredients, menu selections, and event specifications.

  • Montana Table may photograph its food and displays for promotional purposes, respecting applicable privacy rights and permissions. Identifiable guest images and third-party professional photography will only be used with appropriate authorization.
